　　1.用词不当

　　学生在作文中或多或少会出现一些词语不当的问题，但需要注意的是，一些最基本的错误是不能犯的。

　　3.滥用大词

　　这里的gingerliness根本不明。这句话还存在以下问题：

　　1)作文题目是讲学生是否应该做兼职，所以children的出现变得非常无缘无故；

　　2)although和but不能连用；

　　3)指代不明，they不知道指代前面的什么；

　　4.表达中式

　　Thesecondargument-itmighthavebeennoticedbyothers-isthatinsomeoccasion,itisquitedifficulttocompareparentstoteachersbecauseparentsareakindofpeople,teachersareakindofvocation.

　　句子中划线部分的表达过于中式化。

　　5.表意重复

　　Theyshockedtheirfriends,devastatedtheirfamilies,crushedtheirbestfriends.

　　前面提到了朋友，后面提到了朋友。

　　Theshowissocompellingbutattractive.

　　compelling和attractive是同义词，所以这里这样写就让人不明白了。

　　6.固定用法错误

　　Tosomeextends,Iagreewiththeauthor’sgeneralassertionthatifparentsalsohaveacomprehensivesenseofprofessionalknowledge.

　　——Tosomextends应该改为Tososomextenttent应该改为Tosososo应该

　　7.例证夸张

　　Forexample,whenadoctorfacesapatientwhohasgotcancer,thedoctorcannottellthetruth,forthetruthmaycausethepatient’simmediatedeath.
