“五一”劳动节出现了一个重磅!现在终于有一家教育机构注意到“手机课堂”对学生学习的弊端,并开始采取措施,旨在扭转局势,引导学生“把头抬起来”,让课堂从费流量转变为费脑子。这一家良心教育机构就是——新航道!
新航道在胡敏总裁的倡议下,立志开展“无手机课堂”这一专项活动,专门成立无手机课堂推进小组,在全国新航道课堂内帮助学生在学习时间内摆脱手机的干扰与束缚,养成良好的学习习惯,成为业内首家实现无手机课堂的品牌教育培训机构。
其实,早在2016年,新航道全国众多分校就陆续展开了“无手机课堂”实践教学,由于教学效果显著提升,如今越来越多的分校开始了“无手机课堂”的教学,从南京到青岛,从泉州到上海,从武汉到西安,从合肥到济南,从杭州到哈尔滨,从成都到福州,从石家庄到唐山,从长沙到郑州.......
关于“无手机课堂”,有些人认为这限制了学生使用手机的自由。其实“无手机课堂”体现的是一种善意的人文关怀,营造的是一种专注的学习氛围。在这种关怀指引和学习氛围下,老师和学生并不是被迫执行,而是主动参与,通过投入和互动达到的学习效果。
一些赞同使用手机偶尔查查单词或背景知识能有助于教学的老师其实只是选择了小利和大弊,这种看似有助于教学的做法实际上会严重影响教学质量。
首先,课堂上随意使用手机查询不利于老师树立学术权威。当然,老师在教学过程中也会需要借助网络来丰富授课内容。但每位老师应该在课前或课下完成,因为一旦拿出手机查询,会让学生产生怀疑,甚至担忧:“这个老师到底行不行?”。如果某个问题很有挑战性,老师完全可以通过调动学生积极性来共同探讨,或放平姿态向学生“坦白”,课后查阅资料后再回答。学无止境,老师也要坚持学习,不断学习。
其次,课堂使用手机妨碍教学的流畅表达。虽然用手机播放课堂听力和视频材料无可厚非。但每一场教学活动都是一场表演,这个过程需要百分百集中,并投入精力和激情,使用手机会打乱整个节奏,既不利于老师讲课,也不利于学生接受知识。
而“无手机课堂”的优势是巨大的。首先,它可以帮助老师、学生更好自律,拒绝干扰与诱惑。目前,绝大部分信息都通过手机网络进行传播,且几乎与上课内容毫无关系。这些都会扰乱老师、学生的正常思维,分散注意力,从而打断教学进程,造成教学效率低下的后果。“无手机课堂”却成功避免了这些问题,正所谓“眼不见为净”,限度集中注意力,慢慢养成教学与学习的好习惯。

近期计划报名雅思考试的小伙伴们请注意:
从即日起,雅思考试将放宽报名次数的限制,大家可最多同时预订五场考试,但为了防止出现下一场考试的口试安排和本场考试的笔试时间冲突,相邻的两场考试仍须间隔7天以上。
该调整将适用于雅思考试(IELTS)和用于英国签证及移民的雅思考试(IELTS for UKVI)。
