要理解一个段落，我们只需要掌握几个关键词。那么如何掌握关键词呢？一是看逻辑信号词；第二，读句子的时候一定要记住只看骨干！让我们以托福TPO25中的文章Thedeclineofvenetianshipping为例，谈谈如何巧妙掌握关键词。

以上是托福阅读中的长段落。当我们快速阅读这个段落时，我们需要找到的关键词是：逻辑信号词——如段落中标记的first，but，this…我们不难发现，这些信号词所在的句子基本上都是解决问题的信息点。所以在做问题的定位时要多加注意。当然，掌握这些关键词并不难，但很难理解。
接下来，让我们来看看理解这些句子时的关键词。必须阅读每段的第一句话。ThisdeclinecanbeseenclearlyinthechangesthataffectedVenetianshippingandtrade。这是一个复杂的句子，包含一个定语从句。先看核心词changes，再看venetianshipppingandtrade。本文接下来要写的具体内容将充分展示，即威尼斯船业和贸易的变化。
