教室[jiao shi]是教师向学生传授课业的场所。它是一间由前面是讲台、后面是座位的大房间构成。靠讲台的墙上有黑板或白板，是教师讲课、布置作业的地方。后面是学生的座位。在中国，中小学的课桌布置一般有四组，每组有八至九桌，每桌坐两个学生。
