本期雅思培训类作文专栏要介绍的一道题目与求职相关，要求考生给新雇主写一封信告诉雇主自己由于特殊情况，无法按时到岗。和之前咱们学习过的给公司HR写回绝信那道G类写作题目有点类似的地方，都是要和公司的相关负责人进行沟通表达自己的具体想法。考生们可以在练习的时候，两篇一起学习。

You are due to start a new job next week but you will not be able to because you have some problems. 你马上在下周就要开启新的岗位工作了，但是由于一些问题，你不能进行工作。

Write a letter to your new employer. In your letter: 写一封信给你的新雇主，在信件中：

explain your situation 解释你现在的情况

describe your problems 描述一下你的问题所在

tell him/her when you think you can start 告诉他/她你什么时候觉得自己能开始

Write at least 150 words.不低于一百五十个词

You do NOT need to write any addresses. 不必写出具体地址

Dear Sir or Madam,

I would like to thank you for offering me the assistant manager post in your organisation. However, I regret to inform you that I am suffering from a severe viral fever for the last couple of days and my doctor has predicted that it would take me another week to recover. So instead of reporting on first April, I need an additional two weeks to start my work in Smith and Sons.
