A place I’ve been to that had pollution problems is Qinghai Lake, which is located in the west of China.

一个我去过的有污染的地方就是青海湖，它为与中国的西部。

I went there three years ago. You know, at that time, I was just about to start my university life, my parents advised me to have a trip nearby because they thought that I wouldn’t have much free time thereafter. You know, Qinghai lake was not far from my university and was the largest lake in China, so it’s definitely a must-see place.

我大概是三年前去的那里。在那时，我刚要上大学，我父母建议我去周边游玩一下，因为他们觉得我之后就不会有太多空闲时间了。青海湖距离我的大学不是特别远，而且是中国最 大的湖泊，所以绝 对是一个必看之地。

We had a road trip to the spot, and the moment I saw the lake, I was thrilled by the picturesque scene. You know, the lake had actually two distinct blue colors. Lots of rape flowers turned yellow. Oh, and the snow moutians at the far side silhouetted by the bright sky also brought me a sense of mystery.

我们搞了一个自驾游，当我到达青海湖之后，我被如画的风景给折服了。湖面其实有两种明显的蓝色。很多油菜花也变黄了。哦对了，还有远处的雪山，在明亮的天空下呈现出的影子给我带来了一种神秘的色彩。

However, when I get closer to the lake, it was totally another scene. I saw lots of disserted bottles and plastic bags scattered around and on the lake. When I approached to the water, I could even sense a suffocating smell. I didn’t quite understand why it was like this.

不过，当我靠近青海湖的时候，就完全是另一番景象了。我看到特别的多的废弃瓶子和塑料袋散落在周围以及湖面上。当我走进水面的时候，我甚至能够感到一股窒息的臭味。我完全不理解为啥会这样。

I felt so sad about the pollution there. Are those caused by careless tourists? I just couldn’t believe there were even those people who could break his heart to ruin such as a stunning natural beauty.

我对那里的污染感到特别伤心。这些都是粗心的游客造成的吗?我无法理解会有人能够忍心毁掉如此美丽的壮观的景色。
