A mistake that I have made was actually choosing the major in my college studies.

一个我犯的错误就是选大学专业。

It was about two years ago when I finished my Kaogao, which is the College Entrance Exam. I knew right after I took the exam that the ultimate score I got would not be enough to let me choose a good major if I wanted to pick up my target university.

大约是两年前我参加完高考之后的事情。我参加完考试之后立马就觉得我最终的分数无法让选一个目标院校的好专业。

My parents were very concerned about me as I was feeling blue since I finished my exam, and wanted to give me a hand. So, they brought me many magazines regarding how to select a correct major and school. But, they didn’t get into the action and let me make the decision.

我当时参加完考试之后一直郁郁寡欢，我的父母很担心我，也想帮助我一下。他们给我拿来了很多关于如何选择合适专业和择校的杂志。但是，他们并没有插手这个行为，让我自己做决定。

Well, you might never know how depressed I was. I had dreamed about going to my ideal university since the first day of my senior high school. You know, regardless of how important they kept emphasizing the choice of a good major was, I ended up applying to the university I had dreamed of studying at and selected a major that I was actually not fond of.

你可能不太晓得我当时是如何沮丧。我从我高中第1天开始就梦想着去我的理想的大学。不管父母如何强调选择专业的重要性，我还是申请了梦想就读的大学，然后选择了一个我其实不喜欢的专业。

I didn’t regret much until last semester when I felt this major, which was accounting, really boring. I felt how silly I was when I made that mistake of choosing the wrong major. You know, I can’t change it right now as the time and school rules don’t allow me to do so. So, what I could do is to keep a good record of my studies and apply for another one after graduation.

我在上个学期的的时候开始后悔我选择的这个非常无聊的会计专业。我觉得当时我犯错选择了一个错误的专业是真的很愚蠢。由于时间关系以及学校规定，我现在无法改变了。所以，我现能够做的就是保证好我现在的学习成绩，在毕业之后申请另外一个专业。
