地图题的考察题型多为多张地图描述一个地方的今昔变迁，常出现的地方举例为学校，医院，海岛，小镇等。

应对这类题目，首先我们就要积累适量的方位词

01方位词

东南西北：east,south,north,west

交叉方位：

northeast东北方

southeast东南方

southwest西南方

northwest西北方

注意：

1）这些词汇小写就可以，不需要大写

2）这些词可以用作名词也可以用作形容词，如in the southwestern corner/in the northeast

02地点介词

05重要句型积累

1）方位+there be句型：

On the western side of the lake there are greyfield sites.

In the center of the island there is a new hotel.

2）方位+we can see：

In the north western corner of the rubric we can see the tallest of the three buildings.

To the south of the lake we can see a new footpath,leading to a lake.

To the east of the first car park we can see three new buildings.

3）地点状语的倒装：

At the gate of the school（主语）stands a bus station.

(正常语序：A bus station stands at the gate of the school.)

On the east side of the building is the gate that directly leads to the park.
