C14T1 WRITING TASK 1


You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.


The charts below show the average percentages in typical meals of three types of nutrients, all of which may be unhealthy if eaten too much.


Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

思路分析:


这是一道静态多饼图题,分析美国日常饮食(一日三餐和零食)中钠、饱和脂肪和糖类的含量占比。多图题的分析原则图与图之间没有明确关联的静态图是尽量一张图写完再写另外一张,不要来回跳着写,而且写作的过程中要注意保证思路的清晰和逻辑的一致。单张饼图按照按照占比从大到小或从小到大进行描述,抓住数据间的特点,如:最值,第二大值,倍数,分数,接近等值,注意数据间的比较,不要单一描述数据。题干中由于没有明确时间,整体时态则采用一般现在时。


写作步骤:


1. 首段改写:改写题干,概括出图片中饼图所呈现的的信息,具体描述了每个饼的组成部分。


The three pie charts demonstrate average proportions of sodium, saturated fats and added sugars in typical meals eaten in the USA. (过去分词作后置定语)Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks are involved in investigated meals. 


2. 主体段1:描述张饼图的信息,即一日三餐和零食中钠所占的比例。晚餐中钠所占的比例,零食和早餐的比例相同。


As for the absorption of sodium, nearly half of sodium is taken in dinner (43%), which is 14% larger than the share of sodium consumed in lunch. (主语是成分,非限定性定语从句补充说明) Breakfast and snacks both contain 14% of the sodium, half of the share of sodium in lunch. (主语是三餐)


3. 主体段2: 描述第二张饼图的信息,即一日三餐和零食中饱和脂肪所占的比例。晚餐中饱和脂肪所占比例,

In terms of saturated fat, the share of it in dinner still ranks the first at 37%, followed by the figure in lunch at 26%.(一句话体现出值和第二大值) There is 21% of saturated fat in snacks, 5% larger than the figure in breakfast. (there be句型)


4. 主体段3: 描述第三张饼图的信息,即一日三餐和零食中糖类所占的比例。零食中糖类所占比例。


For added sugar, its percentage in snacks is the largest at 42%, quite close to the share of sodium in dinner. (最值表达的主语是百分比) The share of added sugar in dinner is 19% less than that in snacks, which is equal to the figure for sugar in lunch. Only 16% of added sugar can be found in breakfast. (主语是描述对象即成分)


5. 结尾段:总结三张饼图的特点。与其他餐相比,钠和饱和脂肪在晚餐中的比例。


In conclusion, except added sugar, dinner contains the largest proportion of sodium and saturated fat compared to other three types of meals.


综合分析:


TA:找出三个饼图的关键信息,充分且适量得描述了图中关键信息,总结出最明显的特征。


CC:段落和段落间,句与句之间的逻辑关系通过衔接词实现,如:compared to,in conclusion等。


LR:同义词的使用,如as for和in terms of,share和percentage,最值表达多样性。


GRA:简单句和复杂句交替使用,比较级,被动语态,非限定性定语从句,there be,非谓语结构等的使用。
