我完全这样觉得。在过去，尤其是是新中国改革开放以前，大多数的人民生活在贫困线以下，他们就像在物资消耗殆尽之前尽可能的多囤点东西。如今，他们不必这样子囤货了，尤其是食物等。但是他们依然还保有这么一个习惯，藏一些古董啥的。为啥呢?我猜老一辈特别想要有一种安全感和富足感。

In the past, especially before the reform and opening policy in China, most Chinese were living in poverty, they would store many things as much as possible before things ran out.
