注：说到战争，有烤鸭回顾虑，要是考官是美国人或者哪个敌对国的人咋办咧?其实，考官没有这个心思去思考你的价值观。要记住，这场考试在考语言并非其它的。

在2011年我还是个大学学生的时候，我有一短很难以忘怀的经历，那个时候我们穿着黄色的制服为2011年西安世界园艺博览会做了为期两周的志愿者工作。

Back in 2011 when I was a student in college, I had a very unforgettable memory that I wore a yellow uniform to perform as a volunteer in the 2011 Xi’an Horticulture Exposition for two weeks.

What’s most interesting was that once we were in our uniform, it seemed to others that we were kind of vigilantes, and those bad guys I mean the scalpers and the thieves were somehow intimidated when we were besides them.

But because it was already pretty late, the public transport had stopped running and taking a taxi would exceed our budget. So we decided to ride bikes.

We set out at around 11 and arrived there at half past 3 in the morning.

Well, one of my favorite singers that I would like to talk about is Adam Lambert, who is an American pop song singer.

Adam Lambert, as you probably know, was the runner-up in the 2009 American Idol, which was the most popular singing TV talent show in the U.S or even around the world during that year.

I probably knew him from the very first episode of the TV show. At that time, he had a very easy-going personality while talking to the host, friends and the judges. Well, it’s been quite a while. I remember it was in the third year of my primary school that I started to talk in a language that was not my mother tongue.

I was actually in a classroom where our English teacher prepared us a group activity in which we were required to introduce ourselves in English with three simple sentences in front of the group members.

The experience I am going to tell you is that I went to the Tekapo national park, located on the southern island of New Zealand. To get there, I first flew for approximately 12 hours to arrive at Christchurch and then spent 3 more hours on the coach, a long exhausting journey. Usually, I would listen to it during the night time, when I need some light music to maintain focus after a tiring day.

The man slowly reached his phone, looked at the screen and thought for a few seconds before picking it up. It was during the second summer of my college when I traveled to Thailand with my classmates for the first time. I went to quite a few tourist spots such as the Grand Palace in Bangkok and the beautiful beach in Phuket Island. But, the most impressive one to me, to some extent, was a history museum.

The museum exhibited some real-life situations of those suffering residents in the Golden Triangle area, which was an area consisting of part of Laos, Thailand, and Burma, and was considered the most dangerous place in that region as there were lots of illegal trades of poppies for making the drug opium. The museum disclosed some of the hidden and forgotten period of history that was correlated to both China and Thailand. We learned a lot from the relics and even the residents from the tribes in that area.

Those people were in a very embarrassing situation as neither Thailand nor China has granted citizenship to them, and they are now still living under the poverty line. I donated some money to them, not so much though, hoping their lives could get better.

You know, we should feel grateful and cherish what we’ve already had.
